Each year, the Jackson Sparks Foundation hosts an annual Homerun Derby fundraiser. In 2024, we have partnered with the Mukwonago Lions at Mukwonago's Summerfeste. All proceeds go to our mission of making #baseballdreams come true for children.

The Jackson Sparks Foundation's 3rd annual Home Run Derby at Mukwonago's Lions Summerfest.
We'll have food, raffles, entertainment, special guests all while watching our little sluggers swing for the fences!
**Softball and Baseball (girls and boys) players all welcome!

Check-in begins at 12:00 pm and will go on until 4:00pm Saturday, June 15th, 2024 with the winners being announced at 4:30pm.

HOME RUN DERBY Rules:
-
All registrants must check-in prior to participating in the event.

The Baseball Homerun Derby competition is open to athletes ages 7 – 12 years old.

The Softball Homerun Derby competition is limited to female athletes ages 7 – 12 years old
-
All Homerun Derby participants must wear batting helmets!

Each participant gets (7) "outs".
-
Each ball hit that is not a home run (over the fence) counts as an "out".
-
An "out" consists of any pitch that is swung upon and missed, fouled or not hit over the fence on a fly.
-
Balls that are batted over the fence in fair territory are "home runs" and are not counted as "outs".
-
"Jackson Ball" or Money Ball!! Any homeruns hit with only 1 "out" remaining (6 "outs" tallied) counts for (2) Homeruns.

Pitchers will be available for all batters or participants may supply their own pitcher.

Tie Breaker: If age group leaders are tied after 7 outs, a swing-off will determine the champion.

Each swing-off participant will get (3) "outs". Most home runs in the swing-off will determine winners.

Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd place and 3rd place for each age group for baseball and softball (36 trophies!)
