All Homerun Derby participants must wear batting helmets!
Each participant gets 7 outs.
Each ball hit that is not a home run counts as an out.
An out consists of any pitch that is swung upon and missed, fouled or not hit over the fence on a fly.
Balls that are batted over the fence in fair territory are home runs and are not counted as outs.
Pitchers will be available for all batters or participants may supply their own pitcher.
Tie Breaker: If age group leaders are tied after 7 outs, a swing-off will determine the champion.
Each swing-off participant will get 3 outs. Most home runs in the swing-off will determine 1st and 2nd place.
Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd place and 3rd place for each age group.
